Visiting the Leuven Bears

The sporting highlight of the WPH team event in Belgium was the visit to a game of the Stella Artois Leuven Bears from the Flemish Leuven. In an exciting match with a thrilling finale, the Bears, who were several times in the red, ultimately prevailed with 73:69 against Spirou Basket from Charleroi.

The trip to Belgium not only offered us an exciting basketball game, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas with the staff and sponsors of the Leuven Bears. Of course, there was also time for a leisurely stroll through the old town of Leuven. Our sincere thanks go to Danny Marguillier, who made a good impression both as president of the Stella Artois Leuven Bears and as a competent tour guide. We would also like to thank all the staff and the team of the Bears, who - despite preparing for the important game - took so much time for us.

Keep going and shake the championship awake!
